Difficulty 32 explains that heart and lungs are situated over entire complex of organs of abdominal area. Function of these organs of abdominal area is digestion and production of ying 營. Rong 榮 and wei 衛 are parts of ying. Archaic acupuncture uses these rong and wei during the treatment to normalize ying in the external parts of the body to treat internal organs situated inside of caldron or abdominal area and heart and lung situated over abdominal area.
This difficulty is a continuation of difficulty 30 which explains production of rong and wei and their circulation in form of ying, Two of these difficulties show that ying is not only rong, it is a complex of rong and wei
