This chapter explains direction of the vessel Yang Ming of the hand, Large intestine vessel. It says 出合谷 leaving at hegu, 出髃骨 leving from yu gu but 交人中 uniting at Ren Zhong acupuncture points.
Character 交 shows a man 大 with crossed legs, meaning to join, to unite, put together, blend. It doesn't mean to cross to another side. Right meridian unites with left side meridian in the point Ren Zhong without crossing it. Ren Zhong or center of the man is the unique point which shows unique characteristic of human being to have joined upper lip. This particular characteristic together with development of the chin give human possibility to articulate their tongue and produce words.

It is a place under the nose where Chinese people were indicating with finger index saying «I am» when Europeans where showing to the center of the chest.
During embryological period point Ren Zhong is formed by unification of the left and right maxillary bones to the 8th week.
Large intestine meridian joins Ren Zhong to communicate Ren and Wei which circulate separately on the right and left side, exchanging sides every 14.4 minutes, that may be observed through the pulse. Large intestine meridian achieves Ren Zhong point which unites right side with the left and the left with the right without crossing to the opposite side.
Many animals have not this point developed as humans, but their qi circulation is the same as in humans, making possible veterinary acupuncture. There is not any changes in Large intestine meridian or organ in humans with defect of the upper lip. According to the law biology which states that Embryogenesis repeats Phylogenesis we can conclude that large intestine doesn't cross to the other side of the body, it unites with the opposite side in the Ren Zhong.
